Fans & Friends

Latin Groove never had a properly declared Fan Club, but we were very fortunate to have many friends and a group of very hardcore fans. Of these, one couple who went to every party possible were my parents, partly because they wanted to see me play, but also because theirs is a lifetime of loving music and dancing.

While preparing this website I was surprised to find this photo of them with the band during our 2005 photo shoot. I did not remember them being there, but I was glad they were. They always supported what we did and encouraged every member of the band to keep at it.

I think it would be safe to say they are the honorary presidents of the LG fan club.

Our fan base happily extends outside of family members. We were always well received by the members of the St Timothy Catholic Church Community in Miami. Over the years we played many functions there and it always felt like we were coming back home, the band has its origins at St Timothy.

The young and not so young who support the work of Amor en Accion also made for a very lively and happy party experience for us. We had a relationship with this group that extends over several years. God Bless you all for the work you do.

Sister Chiqui - Ondina  "La Monja Bongosera" of the Claretian Sisters is a hardcore LG fan. We also played several functions for her organization and enjoyed those events.

The folks at the Florida International University Alumni Association with whom we collaborated for several years on the Torch Awards. I'm happy to say that several members of the band are Alumni of this great University. Thanks to FIU for their support.

The many other organizations and families that made us part of their very special day and celebrations. Thank You!
